Single-Phase AC-DC Converter (2013 National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest)


  • Designed a digital control based single-phase AC-DC converter with power factor correction and a stable voltage (36V, 2A ) output, of which the output power is controlled by a DSP microcontroller in 4 days.

  • Used a Boost DC-DC converter for the PFC and after DC converter stage in the Active Power Factor Correction part.

  • Measured the power factor of the input AC bus and changed the power factor by human-machine interface, the output voltage can realize certain load regulation and voltage regulation requirement
